Debut full-length by this new project of Nort (Borda's Rope, Luminous Transfixion, Moongate). Another mysterious output from the American magian, Varkonic Telepathy seems to be themed around the same cryptic cosmos of BR and LT. 2 monolithic tracks of hypnotic, Raw Black Metal meditation, channeling mysterious oniric visages and the haunting spirit of sleepless nights. Crude, rustic, melodious yet equally ferocious guitars wail and loop through the darkened woods, accompanied by the ever primitive and incredibly fitting drums. This barrage of darkened folklore and deathly sedition is only occasionly interrupted by Folk-ish interludes with accordeon-style keys, resembling the works of the Dutch, Nord and Owl projects.
