4th full-length by this solo project of Koppany Geczy, based in Wisconsin. Brilliant piece of mid-paced Pagan Atmospheric Black Metal, with blissful Ambient passages as well. Following on the traditions of the Eastern European hordes, albeit here with a lesser cold sound than, for instance, its last full length, "Honfoglalás", Hadak Ura seems to incorporate as well some autumnal Cascadian influences into creating a sound that is as triumphant, as it is an invitation for dreamy introspection, an exaltation of nature, the hardships it sets upon the human spirit and the intrepid will to persevere. Like the timid rays of the sun shining through the branches of the vast midwest forests, Hadak Ura is a beam of ancient spirit and pride enduring in a rotting modernity.
