Making a stance at their first album, Feufolet, a new entity consisting of members of Pénombre, release with this album a statement of despondency and insurrection against the neo-colonialist actions of the Canadian government. With a sound characterized by stripped down Black Metal, with excellent melodic riffage and sorrowful vocals that carry the same wintery atmosphere as the hostile québécois lands, Feufolet shows a clear inspiration from class Finnish Black Metal sound, the French Concilium, or other great Québécois compatriots in Maléfices and Chätiment.
