"Hexxus (Ghast Misanthropia, Hexensturm, Inbrydling, Perilous Gaze, Unhoflich) is joined by vocalist and keyboardist Bludnik on this brief but potent demo of raw melodic black metal perfection. With two movements of melodic black metal fury with a punctuating lull of uneasy and haunting orchestration separating the two comprise the play-length of this potent introductory demonstration. As with the majority of Hexxus canon, there is an indescribable understated element that makes his work exceptional. It’s hard to describe, but his blistering riffs and impactful melodic compositions are blindsiding and memorable. This time in particular though, the addition of Bludnik’s vocal performance and poignant affecting keyboards bring a whole new level to this demo introduction to Draumrdeyja. Highest of recommendations."
