Second full-length from this elusive Portuguese project. Following-up to 2022's "Desaevio" full-length, "Circulus" sees the project maturing in songwriting and vision, crafting an emotional album with a dense atmosphere. With the spirit and melancholy that caracterizes a lot of Portugues Black Metal, Consummatio maintains its very notorious Finnish influences, however with plenty of more atmospheric and abstract passages, with gelid, hazey sound that seem to gather influence from the Blazebirth Hall bands. A very solid album and another great output this year from the ever-surprising Portuguese scene.
