Artillery Torture-Anti-Christian Insurgency MC

This demo from a new band associated with the Order of the Broken Sword is a violent gut punch. With a low, deep tone and an overwhelming, suffocating production style, Artillery Torture creates something maybe more akin to bestiаl blackened death metal, however, much of the general trapping of that sub-genre are avoided in deference to a more raw black metal general structure. Overall creating something novel and intriguing out of the crass and abrasive pieces of two seemingly contradictory sub-genres. The vocals croak very unsettling and abrasively, the guitars chug menacingly, and the rhythm section brutally pummels through this short work. Epic barbarity from an increasingly pertinent order.
