Nachtheem-Nacht, Zij Met Ons...

Emerging from the shadowy Dutch underground, Nachtheem's debut, "Nacht, Zij Met Ons…", casts a spellbinding atmosphere that transcends genre limitations. This isn't just atmospheric black metal; it is an immersive journey through soundscapes hauntingly beautiful. This project blends atmospheric black metal with purely dark ambient sections, creating a dreamy yet unsettling wave that draws the listener in. The first two tracks perfectly showcase this duality, shifting from a synth fused black metal to a serene dark ambient track, creating a sense of both beauty and mystery. Despite this calmness and its unblemished beauty shown in the first two tracks that switch from an atmospheric black metal fused in synths to a purely dark ambient melody, the third track pursues a fiercer and faster approach into atmospheric black, that if had just a louder drumming or more distortion would aim into a Slavonic approach. Still that intensity morphs into dark ambient and subsequently into a blend of atmospheric blackness mixed into ambient as in the starting track. The last track takes those two genres, but it begins with an ambient melody with vocals, portraying a more ritualistic ambient, which eventually detours into atmospheric black metal on a similar pace and aesthetic as on the previous track.
